Home, Actually
Affordable Upgrades
About Home, Actually.
Home, Actually is the story of making our midCentury house feel like ours—one small project at a time.
I'm sharing the upgrades, DIYs, design decisions and everyday finds along the way; from the projects that completely transform a room to the $30 change that simply makes life at home a little better.
As a Realtor and toddler mom, I love good design—but I also live in the real world of budgets, toys, unfinished projects and rooms that can't all be renovated at once.
You'll find plenty of before-and-afters, affordable home finds, simple DIYs, things I'd actually buy again, and probably a few projects that don't go according to plan.
This isn't a perfectly finished house. It's a home we're making better as we live in it.
Home, Actually
Elevated. Practical. Lived in.
